Last Night's Music

I didn't catch either of these songs live last night on television, so my guess is you might have missed them too. Two great musical acts with new songs that you won't find on their albums.

First up is a song from Yeasayer on Conan last night. Even though they put out the album Odd Blood not too long ago, they decided to hit us with a brand new song live. It's a little rough around the edges, so I hope we get to hear an album version one day, since it's catchy as hell.

Second up is a song that you'll only find as a B-Side, and is an example of a great medley of cover songs. This song covers two songs by Bonnie Rait, and a song by Donny Hathaway. It's from Bon Iver, someone everyone should be listening to. Especially his upcoming album Bon Iver Bon Iver, which from what I've heard, sounds amazing. This performance, on last night's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, makes me want to see him live really bad.
