Trailer Round-Up Round #3

Welcome to week three of the Trailer Round-Up, our weekly look at new and noteworthy movie trailers that popped up on the internet. This week, we'll be taking a look at the most watched trailer Apple has ever had. Also, we'll look at a young man who wishes he could grow facial hair, and a man who wishes he could stop. All this, and maybe more, you'll only know if you check it out after the break.
Apple has reported that this brand new trailer for Avatar was streamed over 4 million times in the first day. With the previous record being only 1.7 million, you could say the buzz is in full effect for James Cameron's next film. I'm torn by this trailer. On one hand it looks amazing, more amazing than any CG I've seen, and it will probably be mind-blowing in full 3D. On the other hand I feel like this trailer throws the plot right out there and it seems really predictable. Seeing this on the heels of District 9 makes me so excited for the future of sci-fi movies. Seeing this trailer makes me even more excited for what James Cameron's effort will bring to the world of cinema in the future. I highly recommend that if you can, you should watch it in the highest quality possible here.
Youth in Revolt has been on my list of books to read forever. Now I need to hurry up and read it before this movie comes out. I love Michael Cerra's usual routine, he's a great balance of awkward and funny. However, Youth in Revolt looks like it will be something a little different for Cerra, and still be funny. Just seeing him with the mustache made me wistful for the glory days when everyone had a mustache.
Last in the Round-Up this week is a movie I've been looking forward to for a long time. While everyone is going crazy for vampires these days (I will admit True Blood is amazing), I've been waiting to see a classic movie about my favorite monster, the werewolf. This is that movie, and it has a great actor taking on the role in Benicio Del Toro. This type of movie hinges on the transformation from man to beast and from what they show in the trailer, this movie has it down. I'm still going to wait and see on this one, but I'm excited none the less.
