Japan Gets the Best Commercials

I just saw these Softbank commercials today and they are fantastic. I'm not sure when these commercials came out in Japan but they look relatively new. They star Brad Pitt, and are directed by Spike Jonze. It's rare to see such talent come together in American commercials, but it seems like they are more willing to do things like this for the overseas markets. When I visited Tokyo in March I saw George Clooney in a Honda Odyssey commercial and I had to do a double take. I don't know what kind of money gets thrown at these things but I hope it's selling phones for Softbank. This is really great work from Jonze and Pitt. By the way if you like the music used, it's a song by Department of Eagles.
